What to Expect in an EMDR Intensive Session
Before your session, we’ll have a free consultation to talk about your goals and ensure this approach feels like a good fit. I’ll also provide simple ways to prepare, like grounding practices and tips for self-care.
During the session, we’ll work at a pace that feels safe and comfortable. I’ll guide you through EMDR techniques, incorporating somatic and IFS parts work to help you gently process stuck emotions, memories, and sensations. You’ll have plenty of space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself as we go.
Afterward, I’ll share resources and ideas to help you integrate what we’ve worked on. This might involve identifying a simple routine for you to do at home, like journaling prompts, movement, meditation, or other forms of self care and integration. We design everything collaboratively so that it feels like a right fit for your needs.

Session Length: Each intensive session lasts 2-3 hours, with breaks as needed to ensure your comfort and well-being.
Preparation: Often, we will spend a 90 minute session preparing and getting started so you can have an idea of what to expect, then we will schedule a 3-hour session for processing.
Pricing: Sessions are priced as follows:
1 hour session: 185$
90 minute session: 260$
2 hour intensive: 350$
3 hour intensive: 500$
Follow-Up: After your intensive, you’ll have access to a short check-in call to reflect and integrate your healing.
