Intensive SEssions
Are you longing to feel lighter, more connected to yourself, and more at ease in your daily life? Sometimes, 50-60 minute therapy sessions aren’t quite enough to get to the deeper layers of healing. If you’ve been carrying the weight of old trauma, overwhelming emotions, or patterns that feel hard to change, longer intensive sessions, which can last from 2-4 hours and include experiential modalities like Yoga, EMDR and Brainspotting, might offer you the space and support you’ve been looking for.

What Are Intensives?
Intensives are extended therapy sessions, lasting 2-4 hours, designed to create a deeper, more focused space for healing. These longer sessions allow us to slow down, do a deep dive into your needs, and spend time with experiential modalities, like EMDR and Brainspotting, to integrate processing at multiple layers of your being- mind, emotions, and body.
I combine somatic practices and parts work into intensive sessions. This gentle, holistic approach helps you not only process stuck memories but also connect with your body’s wisdom and the different parts of yourself. Together, we’ll work toward creating more harmony within, so you can feel truly grounded and whole.
Think of it as a healing retreat for your mind, body, and nervous system: a chance to step away from life’s busy-ness, release what you no longer need to carry, and focus fully on your inner well-being.
Who Are Intensives For?
An intensive might be a good fit if you:
Feel stuck or frustrated in your healing journey and want to go deeper.
Struggle with anxiety, trauma, or overwhelming memories.
Want to work through a specific event, recurring trigger, or challenging pattern.
Prefer a less frequent, more focused therapy schedule to fit your life.
Are ready to prioritize your healing in a safe, supportive environment.
Some people choose to schedule intensives at a regular but less frequent cadence, finding this approach better suits their lifestyle or goals. Whether you’re new to EMDR or Brainspotting or have experience with it, we’ll design your session together, ensuring it reflects your needs, goals, and comfort level. Whether you’re working on one specific issue or looking for deeper clarity, your experience will be unique to you.
What to Expect in an Intensive Session
Before your session, we’ll have a free consultation to talk about your goals and make a plan that will align with your needs. I’ll also provide simple ways to prepare, like grounding practices and tips for self-care.
During the session, we’ll work at a pace that feels safe and comfortable. I’ll guide you through Brainspotting, Yoga, or EMDR techniques, incorporating somatic and IFS parts work to help you gently process stuck emotions, memories, and sensations. You’ll have plenty of space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself as we go.
Afterward, I’ll share resources and ideas to help you integrate what we’ve worked on. This might involve identifying a simple routine for you to do at home, like journaling prompts, movement, meditation, or other forms of self care and integration. We design everything collaboratively so that it feels like a right fit for your needs.
Finally, we’ll schedule a shorter integration session afterwards to check in and go over your experience.
Why Choose an Intensive Approach?
Life can be so full, and it’s not always easy to fit weekly therapy into your schedule. Intensives offer an alternative that allows you to:
Create space for deep, uninterrupted healing.
Make noticeable progress in just one or a few sessions.
Walk away with tools and insights you can continue to use.
Many clients describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to themselves after just one intensive session. It’s a chance to give yourself the care and attention you truly deserve.
Logistics and Practical Details

Brainspotting Intensives Now Available
Some wounds live deeper than words. Brainspotting helps us go there with gentleness, precision, and deep respect for your nervous system.
Brainspotting offers an embodied, trauma-informed doorway in, especially for those who feel "stuck" in talk therapy or whose trauma feels preverbal, body-based, or hard to explain.
Brainspotting is a somatic, mindfulness-based therapy that uses your field of vision to access stuck subcortical material (those places in the brain and body where trauma, stress, and emotion have been stored). You don’t have to rehash your story if you don’t want to. We follow your body’s wisdom, using specific eye positions to process and release what’s ready, without forcing.
Clients often describe it as deeply intuitive, calming, and even spiritual.
Whether you're navigating trauma, burnout, anxiety, chronic pain, or creative blocks, Brainspotting in a 1:1 intensive format can offer deep breakthroughs in a condensed window of time.
You can choose Brainspotting, YOga, or a blend of Both, depending on what feels most aligned for your healing.
A Warm, Trauma-Informed Approach
Healing can feel vulnerable, and it’s so important to feel safe and supported along the way. By weaving somatic work and parts work into somatic Yoga and Brainspotting, we can help you not only release old pain but also reconnect with the deeper, wiser parts of yourself and come away feeling more resourced, lighter, and connected to yourself.
